    Shedding some light on the illumination rules was such a bright idea, as I’m usually left in the dark on the subject.

    Nice! I’ve been pretty terrible with using these. I’ve been treating it more like fog of war, as in you can only see so many feet away, and beyond that nada.

    I try to include the effects of darkness when I can, but all too often I opt to ignore it since my players’ torches illuminate enough of the battlefield to make tracking it a waste of time.

    I’ve yet to come up with a really nice way of both: tracking how much light is in each square, and making this obvious to the players. Have you come across any tricks or tools that work for you?
