From the Short & Sweet Department: Here’s Captain London’s stats for ICONS, all primed and ready for play. For comparison purposes he weighs in at 60 points, more than the suggested 45 point base for a point-buy character, but well within the limits for a randomly generated one. That’s in keeping with his status as

Our long-running superhero campaign has trod a long and twisting path. The whole campaign began in a faux-Marvel Universe where the events of the Secret Wars took place, but the heroes (and villains) never returned, leaving a void that our superheroes came to fill. Oh, and when I say long-running, I mean long-running. This campaign

D&D has, in its time, visited many places and had many settings. We’ve had D&D in space (Spelljammer), set in desert lands (twice – Dark Sun and Al-Qadim), the Far East (Oriental Adventures) and on the plains of the horse clans (The Horde – remember that?). We’ve had D&D in Wonderland, in a city lodged

My rpg time has suddenly become a barren wasteland, and that’s a Bad Thing especially given we’re only three sessions away from the end of the world in our Endday Campaign. Here’s hoping that things pick up when normality returns after the school holidays. The Good Thing though is it gives me time to think

A week of rendering spaceships, clowns, bikinis, fairies and elves is not a bad week at all, I reckon. What do you think? I’m done. Hope you’re having a great weekend, all! 1 person likes this post. Unlike Tweet

One of the biggest innovations (or perhaps that should be re-innovations, as some of these elements were also present in previous editions) in Fourth Edition D&D has been the broadening of character generation. Your character is no longer a simple Race/Class combo (though he can be just that, if you want him to be) but

Here’s a quick question to throw into the shallow duckpond that is the internet: what Race/Class combos would best represent the A-Team, were they transplanted into the realms of Dungeons & Dragons? To my mind, this dysfunctional band of merry pyromaniacs (who always seem to get the job done) are the archetypal adventuring party. They

How would you stat him out as a D&D-style character using Mutants & Masterminds? :)

Oh my goodness! I haven’t seen anyone use Lovey Bear in ages. It was one of the first 3d figures I ever bought and is still one of my favorites. :-D

@Kirasha Thanks. It’s amazing what I can find in the older, darker corners of my Runtime folder :D

You missed Tigger out!
Not only is Tigger the best character in Winnie the Pooh but there is one in every party. A character who races around everywhere, diving into situations without any thought.

True, but finding cute models of Tiggers is hard! :D I definitely know a player or two who are Tiggers.
If Tigger was a superhero, he’d look something like this.

So is Eeyore the BBEG of this adventure? He would make a great priest to a dark god.
Eeyore with knife posed above Piglet, the victim.
“In ______’s name, I sacrifice you!”
Pooh runs in.
“Stop foul beast!”
Eeyore turns.
“Oh bother.”

@Tony Lol! I’m with you on this one. There’s definitely something Lovecraftian about Eeyore.
