A short while back I posted an image titled Stand Your Ground, and promised a tutorial showing how it was made. This is it. Note: This tutorial contains nudity. Underneath your clothes, so do you. Live with it, or look away now. Starting (as you do) at the end, here’s what the finished result looked

Absolutely love how this render turned out. Best viewed large! I’ll even go as far as to say that this image is available for commercial use. Drop $10 into my PayPal account using the Donate button in the sidebar, and it’s yours to use however you darned well please. I’ll be posting up a tutorial

Only a handful this week, so I hope you like them! As ever, all rendered in DAZ Studio by yours truly with varying degrees of Photoshoppery applied. Clicking makes ‘em bigger. 1 person likes this post. Unlike

I was doing a google search on Daz Studio and found your blog. So far I have read to here and I want to thank you for the time you have taken for people like myself that are new to 3d. That comicbookify is pretty cool looking stuff :)

This action hasn’t worked for me – all I get are b&w streaks as-is.
Any Ideas?

@Mike which version of Photoshop are you using? I wrote this for CS3 and it might not work in CS4.
You should get the same effect by following this walkthrough – the action just automates it.
It might just be that the top layer isn’t changing blending mode to Overlay, perhaps.
Hope that helps!

I’m using CS2 – that might be an issue.
I’ll check out the tutorial – thanks for the quick response!
