Want a wiki? Want a blog? Want something incredibly small and cool?

You can’t get much cooler than this – a wiki in just four lines of code! Yes, you heard it here first, ladies and gentlemen.

Here’s the code:

 #!/usr/bin/perl
 use CGI':all';path_info=~/\w+/;$_=`grep -l $& *`.h1($&).escapeHTML$t=param(2)
 ||`dd<$&`;open F,">$&";print F$t;s/htt\S+|([A-Z]\w+){2,}/a{href,$&},$&/eg;s/
 /br/eg;print header,"$_<form>",submit,textarea 2,$t,9,70

There. That’s it. It’s called sigwiki, because it’s so small fits into the signature block on an email.

Oh, you want instructions too….

Well, they’re here: Installation Guide

That’s on a fully working testsite of mine, running using only those four lines of code. I use it occassionally for random jottings, notes, half baked ideas, etc.

It’s perfect for running on your local computer (or intranet server) as a quick-and-easy scratchpad, or even as a large scale collaboration tool. There’s no security at all, so everyone it expected to play by the rules. Be nice!
